This procedure is used to tighten a slackened lower eyelid and to correct excessively pronounced folds between the eyelid and the cheek. This surgery can also improve a sad or tired appearance due to sagging skin around the eyelid.<\/p>\n<p>Blepharoplasty is commonly performed in women and men in their forties. However, it is sometimes performed earlier, when the disfigurements are of hereditary origin rather than age-related, such as certain fatty pockets for example.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t<div id=\"accordion-1391859814\" class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t<a id=\"accordion-1391859814-label\" class=\"accordion-title plain\" href=\"#accordion-item-where-and-how?\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"accordion-1391859814-content\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"toggle\" aria-label=\"Toggle\"><i class=\"icon-angle-down\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/button>\n\t\t\t<span>Where and how?<\/span>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t<div id=\"accordion-1391859814-content\" class=\"accordion-inner\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-1391859814-label\">\n\t\t\t\n<p class=\"font_7\">We recommend taking arnica 9 CH 2-3 days before the procedure and continuing it 3 days after. This will tend to reduce the bruising around the eyes quite a bit and avoid several days of social eviction. We perform these procedures in our office, under local anesthesia.
