This is an abnormal development of the mammary gland in men.
It is sometimes fatty in case of overweight. The correction will then be done by simple lipo-aspiration.
Other times, it is predominantly glandular and in these cases, the gland will be excised through an areolar approach so that the scar is not visible.
It is advisable to wear a support vest for 3 weeks during the post-operative period.
